Chapter 428 Gap in Level
"Hey, I'll ask again, what the fuck are you doing?" I raised my eyebrows as I confronted him.
I saw his stats before, and while they were impressive for a human, he was no gifted individual. So, the shockwaves generated by his punch were a bit unexpected.

Ignoring my question, he tightened his grip on his other fist, his muscles tensing with power. With a swift movement, he unleashed a barrage of punches.
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
The onslaught continued, each punch landing with bone-crushing impact, capable of killing a normal human in one blow.
But to me, his punches felt more like a gentle massage on my face.I found myself yawning, utterly unaffected by his futile attempts.
This was the advantage of having overwhelming stats. My base body alone, without any enhancement or protection from my abilities, could withstand even a blow from a rocket launcher.
Though my endurance might only register at a C+, it was important to note that my system was comparing my stats to godlike beings.

No wonder he was so strong for a human. This guy had injected himself with some kind of steroids to boost his stats. It wasn't really uncommon, considering that even Cerebrum relies on artificial drugs to enhance their agents' attributes.
For humans without access to powers, using weapons such as guns and relying on enhancing drugs might indeed be the best course of action to mitigate their weaknesses.
If he were fighting an average gifted individual, this type of attack would work. With his strength, he could overpower his enemy if he managed to land the first punch.
Sadly for him, I was already too high level.
It was akin to a level 20 Monk fighting a level 200 Wizard. While the Wizard's forte might not be on physical attributes and defense, there was no way a level 20 monk could win.
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
He continued his attacks, hoping that they would somehow affect me, but it was just wishful thinking on his part. The drug had even affected his sense of pain, to the point where he didn't realize that the bones in his knuckles had already shattered.
Finally, after his body became too exhausted, he stopped his barrage of punches and knelt on the ground, panting heavily.
"Tired already?" I asked, my tone nonchalant. Bullying the weak while being as powerful as me was embarrassing and disgraceful.
BOOOM!
With a flick of my fingers, I struck his forehead, and it exploded .
"Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm a very petty person," I chuckled aloud. There was no way I would let him live after he had turned me into his personal punching bag.
It was quite ironic; I felt as though I were playing suikawari, a Japanese game where people smash watermelons on the beach, but my version used real human head.
The other people in the mansion had overheard the commotion, but that was fine because I was able to detect them using my telekinesis and restrict their movements. Now, I was free to interrogate Anna again.
"Back to the topic," I turned towards her while releasing my grip.
"Tell me, where did you get this piercing?" I repeated.
She paused, attempting to calm her breathing before responding, "My father gave it to me."
"Give me all the information you have about him,"
"My father works as a businessman in Russia. He owns multiple hotels, but it's all just a front. He's actually working for a secret organization called New Soviet. They're an organized group that deals with illegal activities, ranging from drugs to human trafficking and more," she confessed.
"And what about this piercing? Do you know what this thing really is?" I pressed further. I couldn't care less about their illegal activities.
"Yes, that piercing is made of moon gem," she confirmed. "My father told me that I need to wear it all the time because it would shield me from harm."
"Tell me more,"
Continuing my interrogation, I got some interesting information.
I confirmed that the organization she was talking about was the same one that had been searching for Moon gems all this time. She had a lot of information because she was also part of that organization by bloodline.
Additionally, she provided me with a general overview of their operations in Korea.
As expected, her big brother was actually the one running the show here, supplying South Korea with different types of drugs, and also weapons to the North Korea Government.
"That's enough ," I ended the conversation.
For now, I decided to turn her and everyone here into my puppets. I would hire someone to investigate this matter, but I wouldn't put too much effort into it. After all, I had more important things to deal with.
RING RING RING
My phone rang, so I retrieved it from my pocket.
"Hello," I replied.
"Darling, I got some information about that girl that you wanted me to find," Elaine's voice echoed from the other end. She was the person I had put in charge of dealing with that matter when I left Seoul.
"Did you find her?" I inquired, my urgency was evident in the tone of my voice. I needed to locate her soon so I could acquire her ability to control time around her.
With the threat of the time wraiths always looming, I couldn't risk taking out Sung Hei just yet. Therefore, I decided that I would save her for last.
"We did find her, but there is some issue," Elaine replied, her tone indicating concern.
"Just tell me,"
There was a momentary pause, and I could hear Elaine picking up something from her desk in the background noise.
"We found out that she is now being held hostage by a syndicate in Incheon," she explained.
"A syndicate? What's the name?"
"The gang called themselves Red Dragons , and the leader of the group is a Russian named Roman Rakuv"Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"Rakuv? Don't tell me..." I turned to Anna.
"Do you know someone named Roman Rakuv?" I asked .
Anna locked eyes with me before replying, "He is my eldest brother."
What do you think?
